Melamine-faced Particleboard

Over the last fifteen years we have dedicated ourselves to product innovation and design. The result is the Lombardo brand collection of melamine-faced panels, which combines the raw chipboard core with material and refined decorative proposals. Always in dialogue with companies, contractors, architects and designers, we also deal with specific supplies and made-to-measure projects, for which we are always available to produce prototype batches, either with the decorative motifs of the collection or with digital prints based on customer ideas, in a very extensive range of formats and thicknesses (from 8 to 58 mm).

Raw Particleboard

Lombardo chipboard is made using only natural raw materials. It is a high-quality product—impeccable from an aesthetic point of view and high-performing from a technical standpoint—while also being respectful of the environment and human health. Compact, lightweight, and durable, it delivers excellent mechanical performance that reduces tool wear and facilitates subsequent processes such as cutting and drilling. Its lower weight makes it easier to handle, both on automated production lines and at the level of the finished product. To produce it, we use only virgin wood—meaning wood that has not been previously treated: no trees are cut down to make our chipboard panels, which instead have the merit of reusing high-quality material that would otherwise be discarded solely for dimensional reasons. At our production site in Mortegliano, in the province of Udine, we use only certified resins with low formaldehyde content to bind the wood chips and give the panel the mechanical properties required by international standards. Our wood processing methods also contribute to the naturalness of the finished product: the flat, thin chips obtained using specialised machinery enhance the compactness of the core while requiring less resin during pressing. A guarantee for everyone: workers, clients, and end users, who can rest assured that the furniture and furnishings in their homes are safe for their health and that of their families.
